A dental x-ray technician by trade and later a customer service rep, Jack was an avid musician who shared his talent on guitar and his beautiful tenor voice singing in choirs throughout his life, including a time with the Navy Blue Jackets choir. He is survived by his wife Donna, children John Jr.(Melissa), Amy Rae Davis(Zachary), grandchildren Mary Kate, Jack, Bobby, Joey, Seth and Gabriel, brother James(Donna), sister Barbara Rae McConnell(David) and sister-in-law Karen Rae. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert. Also loved and will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service for Jack Rae will be held on Saturday, July 25th at 12:00 p.m. at 23503 Otter Rd., New Boston MI 48164.

This is an outside memorial at a small private farm so please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

Because of current health concerns, we are asking those who come to please wear a mask or face shield. We will request guests to sit with their own families and social distance. We will share a boxed luncheon following the service.

Internment will be at the Memorial Gardens at Southminster Presbyterian Church on Sunday, July 26th for family.

In lieu of flowers, and to honor Jack’s love of music and giving spirit, monetary gifts to the family will be given to The Detroit Youth Choir in Jack’s memory.

To assist with social distance planning, please RSVP to Donna Rae 734-231-6282 or email to donna.c.rae@gmail.com by June 18th.
