Obituary for Craig Kaska

Craig "Chief" Kaska, age 70, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2019 with family by his side. He was born on June 7, 1949 in Detroit to Robert and Mae Kaska. Craig served in the United States Army as an M.P during the Vietnam War. Craig proudly served on the South Lyon Fire Department from 1980-2010. He is a member of the Nozzlemen M.C., he was one of the founding members of the South Lyon Panthers football organization and coached freshman football at South Lyon High School. Craig is survived by his wife Sharon; children Bobby (Laura) Kaska and Lisa (EJ) Bashor; grandchildren: Leah, Liam, Lincoln and Gage. He is also survived by his brother Dale (Debbie) Kaska and sister April (Marshall) Copeman. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Edward III. Memorial contributions may be made to Great Lakes Burn Camp or U of M research for premature/stillborn infants.
